My life in ten years

Fortunately for me, my future is farily predictable. This is due to the major I have already chosen here at Clemson University. My current major is in PGM (Professional Golf Management). A requirement for this major is to graduate with 17 months of internship experience. Furthermore, each internship is broken up so it is possible to work at different golf courses. The last two summers I worked at two different golf facilities and I enjoyed my experience at both of them. I believe this is what I will be doing 10 years from now. I wish to have a house somewhere warm (Florida or on the coast in SC or GA), and be a Owner/GM of a private golf and country club. At this point in my life I will be 30 years old. I believe I will have found the girl of my dreams by then. I will probably be married but most likely will not have any kids yet. I do not wish to be too old to start having kids, but making sure my career and the career of my wife are both stable are of high importance. This is a pretty specific description of my life in ten years but I at least guarantee I will be involved in the golf industry.

Web 2.0

First of all, this was an impresive video overall. It really opened my eyes to what exactly the web is being used for today. I believe that the title of "Web 2.0" means that the internet is entering its second generation of how it is being used. Instead of shopping and conducting research, the internet is proving to be the number one tool for bringing people together. Web 2.0 affects someone that is entering the workforce becasue it will be easier for people to interact with businesses. For example, with the use of webcams, interviews can be conducted over the internet. This is also along the same lines for people that are already in the workforce because people can hold meetings with other clients that are in a different part of the world. When it says that we will have to rethink everything I believe that they hinting that we need to be careful of what the internet evolves to in the future. It is possible that people's privacy can be even more invaded if the internet grows in the direction it is today.

Introduction of myself

Hello everyone, my name is Daniel Kinn and I am from Greenville, NY. Greenville is in the country, about two hours north of NYC. I am a junior here at Clemson studying Professional Golf Management.
For the last six months of my life I have been interning at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. I worked at the on property golf courses and it was a blast. I was able to go into the parks whenever I want for free, and probably had the funnest six months of my life.
Other than golf, I enjoy attending sporting events and live music venues. I also play intramural basketball, volleyball, and football here at Clemson.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to a successful semester in this course.
